258 I wrote a letter to Mrs Durno to day also one to D. B. Henderson. Our Heavy Battery opened on the Land Fort. Gregg & Eugene & they Replied at intervals all day, But they are being Evacuated also, There is a Family Burying ground near our Camp in which one of Gen Marions men of Revolutionary memory was burried the name is W. J. Wilkins. The Rebel Prisoners was made to take up the Torpedoes around the Forts.
