259 Blakely Alabama April 12" Wedensday I rec'd a letter from Mrs. C. J. Henderson.dated March 25 in which they had the description of sleighing, and Judson had a runaway with Nelly, no one Hurt by the runaway, But [Mike?] Hurt Hisself in trying to Catch the Colt. the Land Forts were left last night & one in our posession to day. Official Report have Come of the Evacuation of Richmond & the Capture of a part of Lees army
