260 also that the City of Mobile is being Evacuated to day our Gun Boats have got up this far, and our Troops are crossing to the Mobile side of the Bay & landing at the Dog River Bar below the City. The 16th Corps are under Marching orders for the [interim?] probility to [peruse?] the uncaptured portion of Mobile Garrison. A Thousand & one Rumors are Circulating to day to the Effect that every thing and allmost every body have been Captured or surrendered, (Vertically, at left:-) Had a [Drink?] from James Henderson (Vertically, at right:-) of Rebs {R prelimits?]
