22 "June 3d Continued", An order has been received to the effect that all Troops be imediately mustered out whos term expires before Sept. 30th,, and their Recruits be turned over to veteran Regt's. I can not see the Justice of mustering out men who have served only 2 1/2 years, and retain others who have served 4 years when the Service of all terminate with the Close of war, but the Govt doubtless intend to evade the Spirit of our Contract by not making a declaration of Peace, which will give them Control of the Veterans for 18 months yet
