Sunday January 11th 1885 I was at home all day doing the work as Mother was sick Hatt and Edith went home in the morning. pleasant weather. Monday January 12th 1885 I was busy about the work. Mother is feeling some better Tuesday January 13th 1885 Mother feels very much better today but I am not at all well. Hattie was over part of the day. I went to bed about five oclock. I had a letter from Will and papers from there Wednesday January 19th 1885 I was in bed all day long Hatt was over part of the day It was very snowy and wintry. washing done today Thursday January 15th 1885 I was up a little in the afternoon and worked a little on a hood Ida is making for her self. weather stormy. Friday January 16th 1885 A snowy stormy day. I sat up part of the day, worked a little on Ida's hood. There is a party at the Rink tonight wrote a short letter to Will Saturday January 17th 1885 The Arcade Rink burned about seven oclock this morning I could not get up to see it. Hatt came over before noon I was up awhile but went back to bed after dinner and they sent for Dr Moon. I felt bad all the afternoon. Sunday January 18th 1885 I was sick and suffering all day long. did not sit up a moment. John and Hatt were over in the afternoon and did not go home till nine oclock.
