Saturday February 14th 1885. I worked real hard all the forenoon cleaning up the house and soon after dinner Joe took me over to Hatties I was about town some and he came after me at five oclock I played on the piano in the evening. Weather milder. Sunday February 15th 1885. I was busy about the work all the forenoon. Mother rode over to Hatts after dinner taking May with her. I read in the afternoon and evening. Weather stormy again tonight Monday February 16th 1885 It was a horribly cold day again. We were busy with the work a great part of the day. I worked on some edging Tuesday February 17th 1885. I gave the upper story a good cleaning up in the forenoon Joe took me over town in the afternoon and came after me in the evening just at supper time. Worked on edging some Wednesday February 18th 1885 We got a large washing done before noon and the house all cleaned up. Mother went to town all the afternoon and I began work on a pair of pillow shams for Hatt. I had a letter from Will and he sent my plain ring home. Thursday February 19th 1885 We ironed a few things this forenoon besides doing the other work. I wrote to Will in the afternoon sewed on shams, Friday February 20th 1885. I was home at work all day. Mother was in town in the afternoon. She and Father are married forty years today.
