Sunday March 8th 1885. I was at the house all day. Mr Clayton was here for dinner And in the evening Charlie, Ida and I went to church, saw Miss Lewis and bid her good-by. Monday March 9th 1885 I got started home this morning. Bird came with me. Mother & Hatt were at the depot. I came on home with Mother and Bird & Hatt came after dinner. Birdie stayed. all night weather pleasant. Tuesday March 10th 1885. Ida did the washing today. Mother and Bird went to town before noon. we girl ironed most of the afternoon I had a letter from Will and answered it in the evening. Wednesday March 11th 1885. I was busy about the house - work all the forenoon as I gave the bed rooms down stair a good cleaning up. I was over to Hatts awhile in the afternoon and Ott and I were invited to Remleys for supper. We spent the last of the evening down to Hatties. Weather pleasant. Thursday March 12th 1885. We got the work done up as soon as we could. bird & Hattie were over to spend the day. Mother went over of an errand when Hattie went home and Anna Anderson came home with her to stay all night. The boys were down stairs to spend the evening.
