Wednesday March 18th 1885. I was busy about the house part of the forenoon and work on the pillow case some. I spent all of the afternoon over to Hatts. Wrote to Will in the evening, It was six months today since Rob was buried. Thursday March 19th 1885. I gave the house a good cleaning up this morning Alice Miller, Mollie Robinson & Mrs Custor with Hattie & Edith spent the day here. Aunt Linda was here for dinner. We had a splendid visit and it was so cold we kept Edith all night. Otto and I went over to look on awhile at the military ball. the drill was beautiful. Friday March 20th 1885. I was at home all day and took a nap in the afternoon Mother went to town in the afternoon. weather pleasanter. Saturday March 21st 1885. I get my work done up this morning in time to sew a little Mother took Edith home after dinner. I played on the piano awhile. my eyes hurt me so I could not do any thing in the evening. Joe got his arm broke just above the wrist by stopped the horses where they took fright at the train below town. Sunday March 22nd 1885. It was a pleasant morning and I went to church And in the afternoon I was over to Falsoms a little while. I read a little but my eyes hurt so I went to bed early.
