Wednesday April 8th 1885. I finished up my edging and skirts today. I practiced some in the afternoon And as soon as moth and I ate our suppers we went over town and went to hear "Joe Eeumett" were pleased with him but that was all. Lee brought us home I had a letter from Will that should have been here before. Thursday April 9th 1885 We had a very large washing it took Ida all the forenoon I was at work about the house. Mother went to town in the afternoon I practiced and in the evening wrote to Will. May is ten years old today. Friday April 10th 1885 I helped work about the house all the forenoon as Ida was ironing. Mother does not feel very well. I went over town in the afternoon to do some trading for myself. I ate supper at Hatts and Ida and May came over to go to the opera house to the entertainment for the benefit of the Unitarian church. It was good but very long we were late getting home. Saturday April 11th 1885 I worked all the forenoon cleaning up the house, after dinner I practiced an hour then went to town and played some more in the evening Mother feels better today. Sunday April 12th 1885. Mother was over to Hatts all day as Robbie has the measles. Ott brought Edith home with him at noon she stayed all night. Ott and I eat and talked all the afternoon and in the evening Lee and Mother with him and I talked till late bed-time
