Sunday June 14th 1885 I was busy about the work most of the forenoon. I wrote to Will Work in the afternoon. The folks were over with the children and stayed till after supper. Mother went to engage a wash woman as they went home. There was a terrible wind storn in the night. Monday June 15th 1885 I was at home all day. Mother to town in the afternoon I worked some on my edging and practiced considerable. Tueasday June 16th 1885 I was busy about the work all the forenoon. I spent the afternoon in town. I took a lesson did some trading and ate my supper at Hatts. Weather cooler. Otto got home from Lennors this morning. there was great damage done there. Wednesday June 17th 1885 It was a splendid day and with our help the washing was done by noon. I practiced while mother was gone to town in the afternoon. I fixed the clothes for ironing and went up stairs and wrote to Will. I had a letter from him this morning. Mr. Gillillard are dinner here.
