Friday June 19th 1885 I finished up the ironing this forenoon and practiced an hour. And more in the afternoon. I was knitting some on a pair of black silk stockings for Edith. Father and Mother went to the funeral of Jabez Stevens. It was the last afternoon of the drill and May went over to see that. It looked like rain in the evening. Saturday June 25th 1885 I did a big forenoon work washing the windows in the lower story and putting the screens in. Mother was in town part of the forenoon. I practiced and knit a little in the afternoon. Weather very warm all day and a heavy rain in the evening. Mrs. Hysham here for supper. Sunday June 21st 1885 I was at home at work most of the day. I went over to the [Rachalorvete?] sermon with Ott in the afternoon. John and Hatt were over with the children and stayed till after supper. weather much cooler. Monday June 22nd 1885 I was knitting some on Ediths stocking and we put up strawberry jam. I made arrangements to entertain some of the old folks in the neighborhood next Monday afternoon. Tuesday June 23rd 1885 I went over to hear Wedd and Rydenorr speak this morning they did very well indeed. I took flowers for them. They were late home to dinner. Mollie and Minnie came with
