Ott. Mother and I put up some berries and Mother and Father went over to Mr. Clute's for supper. I knit a little, got the supper over and answered a letter I had from Will today. Mr Harris started to Dakota today. Wednesday June 24th 1885 I cleaned up the house this morning and did some baking for the boys company tonight. I went over to Hatties about noon and from there to the Arcade to the banquet. It was a sight to see nearly eight hundred people eating at one time. I came home about six oclock and after helping a little the supper work got ready for the company tonight. We had a very pleasant time Mollie and Minnie stayed all night. Mr. Tedd Rydenorr and Bevington went west this morning and Mr. Berton to Berlington in the afternoon. They are all gone. Thursday June 25th 1885 I felt too tired to do anything at all today. Mother and Father went out to Fletchers for a visit in the afternoon. May and I got the supper. I went to bed early. Fruiday June 26th 1885 We had the washing done today I helped some with it. in fact I was busy about the work most of the time till I went over to Hatties in the afternoon where I visited with Mary Fletcher and her cousin from Bloomington. Frank F- and Ott were there for supper. I came home before night. I was tired and sleepy and went to bed early. Weather very warm indeed.
