Tuesday September 8th 1885 Mr. Wilder came for his folks early this morning. Mother was over town today. I worked on my edging what spare time I had. I got a letter from Will. And Frank Fletcher was here all the evening playing whist weather gloomy. It was five years today since John & Hatt were married. Wednesday September 9th 1885 weather a little more pleasant. Mother was in town but I stayed at home all day, wrote to Will in the morning. Thursday September 10th 1885 I was over to Hatts all day visiting with Fanny Graham and Ella Robinson. I helped Hatt select a new side board. Friday September 11th 1885 We had our washing done. And I ironed after dinner while mother went to town. worked on my edging in the evening. Saturday September 12th 1885 I ironed some in the forenoon and baked cake. Mother was in town all the afternoon. I worked on my edging all the spare time I had. Mr. Bevington was here for dinner and supper. Sunday September 13th 1885 I was at home all day and Hattie was over with the children. I wrote to Vene in the afternoon. played piano in the evening. Monday September 14th 1885 I went to town early this morning to look a piano I think of buying. Was not pleased with it. Mother and Father went to the valley and did not get home till the evening. I made several calls this forenoon worked on my edging all the afternoon.
