Sunday October 11th 1885 It was a splendid morning and I went to church when I came home I found Grandma & Aunty Em here. we put in the time visiting with them. Grandma did not go home Monday October 12th 1885 Mother went to town in the forenoon. I was busy about the work. I finished Lee's coat in the afternoon and worked on my edging in the evening. Henry still here sick. Tueasday Ocyboer 13ht 1885 Mother and Grandmother spent the day down at Holsons I was busy about the work most all day. We sat up late to wait for the last train thinking that Clara Mussleman and another lady would be here as they sent word they were coming. I had a letter from Will & Charlie. Wednesday October 14th 1885 I went over town this morning and Edith came home with me. I put in all the rest of the day making her a pair of mittens. I worked on my edging in the evening. Thursday October 15th 1885 I was at home all day. Mother and Grandma went to Hatts to spend the day. I was nearly all the time doing the cooking for the folks were so irregular to meals. I wrote to Will in the afternoon. Mother brought word that Clara Musselman was in town. I baked a cake after supper to take over to the church to dinner tomorrrow. weather perfectly delightful.
