Sunday November 8th 1885 I was at home all day. Mother went to town in the afternoon and John & Hatt came home with her and stayed till after supper. Mr Bevington called in the afternoon I read a little in the evening. Monday November 9th 1885 It was a splendid morning and Mother washed out all the sheets. I did a little cleaning in the hall in the afternoon. we washed all the windows in the front part of the house and ironed the things washed in the morning. Tuesday November 10th 1885 I went to town early this morning and was at Hatts most of the day. I began a lambrequin for my room. I was at the dentists and had a gold filling put in Late in the afternoon, I had a letter from Will. Wednesday November 11th 1885 It was very warm for the time year. May brought Edith over to make a visit and took her to school. Mrs Swart did a large washing. I was at the dentists part of the afternoon and at Hatts. a letter from Will Work wrote to Will Reed and sent Robbins picture. Thursday November 12th 1885 Mother and I did part of the ironing this morning and she and Ott went to the valley just before noon. Hatt brought Robbie over and took the children both home with her. It was quite stormy in the afternoon.
