Monday February 1st 1886 I was working about the house nearly all day as I had ironing and baking to do. Hattie went home in the morning. She sent for Robbie at first Edith did not care to go home. Tuesday February 2nd 1886 I did the work and sewed what spare time I had in the afternoon and evening. I had a letter from Will. Wednesday February 3rd 1886 I was working about the house all the forenoon. Mother got home just before dinner. I went to town in the afternoon and sewed a little and wrote to Will in the evening. Thursday February 4th 1886 I helped a little with the work and sewed all the time I had. weather very cold. Friday February 5th 1886 Still very cold. I was sewing all day and late at night. Saturday February 6th 1886 I took an early start to town. I thought to have some work done on my teeth but could not so went down to Hatts to stay till after dinner. The girls were at the "Elite Studio" having a group picture taken. Hatt and I were there awhile. I came on home and sewed afternoon and evening. weather pleasant. Sunday February 7th 1886 The Whetstone family were over for the day. I was busy up stairs all the forenoon. Hatt and I had a long visit up in Mays room. I showed her all my things and we talked about my visit to Ohio in the spring. weather quite pleasant.
