Monday February 8th 1886 It was a splendid morning to have the washing done. I went to town as soon as I ate my dinner to spend a couple of hours at the dentists. I was at Hatts awhile and Ott brought me home in the sleigh. I sewed all the evening. Tuesday February 9th 1886 Mother and May went to the valley for the day. I ironed in the forenoon and sewed all the afternoon and evening. I had a letter from Will today. Wednesday February 10th 1886 I ironed a little more in the morning and went to town just before dinner. I took over Mays dress to have it cut I ate dinner at Hatts and as I could not do any thing on her dress came home to work on my muslin. I wrote to Will at night. Thursday February 11th 1886 I finished up my muslin sewing today and did some work on Mays dress. Mother spent the afternoon in town. Friday February 12th 1886 I cleaned up the house good and sewed a little before noon I was over town in the afternoon to see how John was and to get my waist and Mays dress fitted. I worked on my edging in the evening and wrote a letter to Will Work. Saturday February 13th 1886 Mother and May were both in town in the afternoon. I worked a little on Mays dress and got my black waist ready for the beads and sewed on some of them. I was a pleasant winter day. John is better he is able to sit up now.
