Monday February 22nd 1886 I worked on my waist all day. As soon as I ate my supper I went over to Hatts and went with her and John to see "Arag baby" We had a big laugh. Lee brought me home. Ott went to Toledo on business today. Tuesday February 23rd 1886 We are still working on my waist. Hatt was over in the afternoon. I had a letter from Will today. weather a little pleasanter. Wednesday February 24th 1886 We had a long washing done this forenoon. It rained in the afternoon, so we put the clothers in the garret. Edith came home with May for a few days visit. I wrote to Will in the evening. Thursday February 26th 1886 I sewed on Mays dress till four oclock in the afternoon and mother and I went over to Thompsons for supper and to spend the evening. May went home with Edith to stay all night. Saturday February 27th 1886 Ott was sick and could not go to the office and Lee went in his place. I went to town and got a lot of things to sew and some home in a driving snow storm just befoe noon. I finished Mays dress in the afternoon. Sunday February 28th 1886 I was busy about the house all the forenoon and read all the afternoon and evening. We had a good rest today. Ott was over town all day. he went in the sleigh.
