Monday March 1st 1886 It was a chilly day. Mother and I worked on my bead waist and I did some mending in muslin for myself and May. Tuesday March 2nd 1885 I worked on an apron for May all the forenoon. Mother went to town in the afternoon and I finished my bead waist by working at night too I had a letter from Will and Bird Harris. Ott is much better. Wednesday March 3rd 1886 Mother went to Uncle Jims to spend the day. I sewed a little on an apron for May. I did not feel like work. Wrote to Will in the eve. Thursday March 4th 1886 I went to town in the forenoon and in the afternoon baked cake and cleaned up the house as Ott was going to have a little company tonight. We had a very pleasant time. Friday March 5th 1886 I did up the work in the morning and Joe took me over to Mattie Fletchers to spend the day. I went down to Hatts with her after leaving there. I got a letter from Will Work today. Saturday March 6th 1886 I was at home all day. I made a couple of shirts for Father. I wrote to him in the evening. We heard from Charle that the case at Clarinda is dismissed. Mother was over town in the afternoon. Sunday March 7th 1886 I went to church in the morning. And to Hatties for dinner. The Ashleys and Fanny Bremmer were there. It was five oclock when I got home. I read , wrote, and played a little on the piano in the evening. went to bed early.
