Monday March 8th 1886 I cut and partly made a calico dress for Mother. Hatt with Mollie Stevens and the children were over to spend the day. Tuesday March 9th 1886 I sewed on Mothers dress part of the day. I practiced a couple of hours in the afternoon while she was gone to town. I had a letter from Father and a long one from Will which I answered in the evening. Wednesday March 10th 1886 I went to town early this morning and began to work on my black satin dress. I ate dinner at Hatts and sewed all the afternoon at home. Thursday March 11th 1886 I was at home working on my dress all day. I practiced a couple of hours in the evening. a snowy mean day. Friday March 12th 1886 I went to town early this morning and worked some on my dress at Ashleys. We all went to church in the afternoon. I did not get home till supper time. I practiced and worked on my edging at night. Saturday March 15th 1886 I was working on my dress waist most of the day. Mother and May were both over town. I practiced two hours in the afternoon. Sunday March 14th 1886 I went to church and stayed at Hatts till after dinner and they come home with me. May went to the valley with Lee. Monday March 15th 1886 We had a large washing done today. Mother went to the meeting in the afternoon. I practiced while she was gone and in the evening worked on the lace for window shades. I wrote a lettter to Father in the evening.
