Thursday April 29th 1886 Mother was over town in the morning. I sewed a little. I baked a fruit cake in the afternoon and answered a letter I had from Will and went to town. I did a lot of shopping and in the evening needed raisins for another fruit cake. Friday April 30th 1886 Mother washed this forenoon and I did the work. We had callers soon after dinner. After they left I wrote four letters and went to town before supper. My green dress is all done. weather very nice indeed. Saturday May 1st 1886 We worked all day at ironing and cleaning the dining and sitting room. It was a splendid day for such work. Sunday May 2nd 1886 I went to church in the forenoon. After dinner I made out a list for Hatt and Ott to invite to my wedding and a list of those to whom I wanted cards sent. John & Hatt were over for supper and we had lots of talk about arrangements. I wrote in the evening. Monday May 3rd 1886 I sewed a little in the forenoon and spent most of the afternoon in town. I saw Hatt awhile my fringe came from Berlington today. I received letter from there and one from Will Work with a card from May Briggs about my coming there. Tuesday May 4th 1886 It was rainy but I went to town this morning. Saw Hatt up town and walked down home with her. I had my brown dress tried on I was nearly noon when I got home. I had a letter from Will which I answered. I sewed some in the afternoon.
