After supper I went with Will down in the lot to see the place for the cattle to drink that he fixed yesterday. weather very warm. Sunday July 25th 1886 It was fearful hot day and I was just nearly sick enough to be in bed. Lee went ot the valley in the afternoon but the rest of us staid about the house and tried to sleep. Edith did not go home tonight.
