Saturday September 11th 1886 Will felt some better today. I was busy about the house all the forenoon while Mother was in town and Will and I were over all the afternoon. I played on the piano in the evening. Sunday September 12th 1886 Mother and Ott went to the valley today. I got dinner for company is Aunt Mary & Minnie & Ed Mc were here. The Whetstone family were over in the afternoon but did not stay till after supper. It was a delightful evening. It was four months today since Will and I were married and fourteen years since he was married the first time. Monday September 13th 1886 Mother did the washing and I went to the valley with Will I ironed some in the afternoon and helped Will get his things ready to go away tomorrow morning. a shower tonight. Tuesday September 14th 1886 Will got started on the early train. I took a nap after he went. I ironed in the forenoon. Mother went to town and brought Aunt Lydia and son Mc home with her. They came to Hatties last night. After dinner we sent them to the valley. Uncle Jim Mc was here in the afternoon. I wrote to Will and went to town just before supper to mail the letter. Wednesday September 15th 1886 Mother & Ott took an early start to the Nelson & Spencer wedding. Lee went down last night. The ceremony was to be at eleven and Hart and Orie started south on the afternoon train. I was busy sewing for May most of the day. I wrote
