a short letter to Will. When Mother came home she said the wedding was a very pleasant one and the presents elegant. It was a very pleasant day. It was two years tonight at nine oclock since Rob died. Thursday 16th 1886. It was a showery day after a heavy rain last night I was sewing most of the day. I finished Mays dress. I wrote a few lines to Will and went over town just before supper to invite the Tallout girls over for tomorrow afternoon. Friday September 17th 1886 I cleaned up the house this morning and baked cake. Mother and May was in town. The girls with Edith Merry and John & Hatt were here for supper and to spend the evening. Saturday September 18th 1886 I gave the upper story a good cleaning and helped some with the other work before going to town at eleven oclock I took dinner at Hatts with the girls and it was early in the afternoon Lee came and said Lizzie Lindley and children were here. I come directly back, but they soon went home for fear of rain. It was a stormy night but the boys went over to Edith Murrys to a party. I had a letter from Will Sunday September 19th 1886 It was a pleasant day. I was busy about the house part of the forenoon. In the afternoon I read a little and walked down in the lot. We had a fire in the parlor and sat there and read all the evening.
