Saturday July 26th 1884. I arrived home at eight oclock, stopped at Hatts for breakfast and brought Edith over with me, was busy about the work most of the day. The boys went of camping. Aunty Walker was here to stay all night, wrote to the folks, Mother went to town. Sunday July 27th 1884. At home all day. Edith not very well, wrote letter to folks. The boys got back from camping early in the afternoon. Monday July 28th 1884. Was to town most of the forenoon got Edith a necklace. I made May dress in the afternoon, received letters and wrote. Tuesday July 29th 1884. At home all day, made father two shirts. Larry Smith wrote estimate of bay window. Aunty went home. Word from the folks, say Rob is hardly so well. Weather very warm. Wednesday July 30th 1884. Edith is three years old. I gave her the necklace. The men began work on the window and were stopped by heavy rain. I fixed my lawn dress today and began on my old black satin. Mother wrote the folks in the afternoon and I a long letter in the evening. Their letters today report Rob better.
