Thursday September 4th 1884. I went over to Hatties early and the rest of the folks came later. Mart came up with Harry and they were all at our house all night. Telegram from Vene which I answered. Friday September 5th 1884. Hatt was over for the day. Lee took the folks home after dinner I helped Hatt sew a little. John came over to help home with Edith. Saturday September 6th 1884. Weather very warm. Rob quite miserable all forenoon. I went to town in the phaeton, was over to Hatts for supper, wrote to father. A rain in evening made the weather more pleasant. Sunday September 7th 1884. Was busy about the work all the forenoon. Wrote a short letter to Kate Wenger. John and Hatt were over with both the children. Monday September 8th 1884. We girls did ome washing and ironing today. Hattie was over awhile. Weather warm. Rob seems to be losing strength every day. John and Hatt have been married four years today. Tuesday September 9th 1884. Was home all day. Rob about the same. I helped some with the work and sewed a little. Weather more pleasant.
