Mr Cordrekes To Make the best Strong Mead Take twenty quarts of water five quarts of honey the five pound of Rasons of the Sun Clean picket put them in with the hunay when half boyled take them up & beat them & putt them in again & let the mead boyle till it comes to twenty quarts when it is Coall stream itt through a hare sive then putt itt in to a stand & when itt is coald putt a quantity of east to & sett itt be [?] in twice a day for four days then barrill itt up with half an ounce of Ising-glas beat small & in a month time draw it off the grounds & putt itt up againe you may bottle itt in three months time after
