Seed Cake Take 4 pound of fine flower dryed by a fire, then take 2 pound and aquarter of butter [illegible] melt over a fire, add to [illegible], 5 Eggs, only thre [illegible] a pint of ale yest , Putt in then a pint of good Milk, a cup of Brandy, a Little sack or Sweet Wine, a pound of Sugar, add to the flower, spoon on the Liquor & Let it Stand half an hour, [illegible] seed you please
