Friday March 2nd 1883 I worked very hard all day long. Mother does not seem any better. Hatt came over this forenoon and stayed till after dinner. Grand-ma and Uncle Jacob was here and Mr SS Howe came just as dinner was ready. I gave the upper story a good cleaning up in the afternoon. Grand-ma stayed all night. Saturday March 3rd 1883 I worked very busy all the forenoon cleaning up the house and getting dinner After the dinner work was done up I went to town in the phaeton to get the things for Sunday. Was at Hatts and she went up town with me. I got the supper as soon as I got home and was working in the kitchen all the evening Mother is a little better today. I was just tired out tonight so went to bed as soon as I possibly could
