Thursday March 15th 1883 I felt badly all the forenoon but managed to get the dinner I was in bed in the afternoon and got up to try and get the supper and when it was nearly ready Hatt happened to come over and she finished it and let me go back to bed I have not been as sick for years. Mothers arm still has to be poulticed and she is not able to be up all day. Bridget has more than her hands full. Friday March 16th 1883 I felt just awful sick this morning but managed to help Bridget get breakfast We sent for Hatt she did the work up stairs I partly got the dinner and went back to bed where I stayed most of the day. Lee and George Day took Edith home before night but Hatt did not go home till bed-time. Mothers arm improves very slowly Uncle Jacob was here for dinner.
