Saturday March 31st 1883 I worked about the house nearly all day and gave it a good sweeping and cleaning I played on the piano about an hour in the afternoon. I went to town after supper and played on the piano in the evening. Sunday April 1st 1883 It was a cold cloudy day though it did not rain. I was busy about the house all the forenoon and read some in the afternoon. John and Hatt were over and brought Edith. They went home right away after supper. I wrote a letter to Otto in the evening. Judge Day has been spending today with the boys. Monday April 2nd 1883 We did not wash today I went to town in the forenoon. Mr Day went away in the afternoon. I was busy sewing what spare time I had and finished my pillow cases. I now have five pair chain stitched
