Sunday May 13th 1883 It was a gloomy rainy day and very cold for the time of year. I helped about the work, read and played on the piano some besides writing a long letter to Vene. Monday May 14th 1883. Weather still rainy and gloomy I helped about the work considerable. Bridget washed and put the clothes to soak I played on the piano part of the afternoon Mother went to town though it was drizzling worked on my edging in the evening. Tuesday May 15th 1883 The weather was pleasant today and I went down to Robinsons for a visit Hatt was down there too with Edith and we did have a pleasant day of it. I helped with the supper work after I came home and practiced in the evening
