Saturday July 28th 1883 I went down to the depot this morning to meet Otto. The train was on time and he was aboard. We walked out home and spent the forenoon in visiting with Vene. After dinner him and I went down town called at Duncans, Bakers and Buchers. We spent the latter part of the afternoon and evening at Eva Taylors with other company and had a very pleasant time. Will came with us from the store as we passed that on our way home. Sunday July 29th 1883 I wrote a little this morning and then we all got ready and went up to the old place. The day was pleasant and we had a delightful visit. It was a day to be remembered. Jim came after us at five oclock and we had only just got home when Will came to take me a ride. We went out past the old school house and made a short call at
