Monday September 10th 1883 I was working around up stairs all the forenoon while the girl did the washing I was over town nearly all the afternoon May came over to Hatties to supper. I made a curtain for the little room in the evening as we got it fixed up today. Tuesday September 11th 1883 I did most of the ironing this morning as the girl got mad and went home. Mother was over town in the forenoon and went down to Uncle Jims in the afternoon and did not get home till night. We got two boarders today one was Mr Hysham. I worked on edging in the evening. A letter from Will Wednesday September 12th 1883 I was busy about the house all the forenoon. In the afternoon Mother and I made plum jelly and butter. Mr Springs cousin a young lady from Lemars is here having her eyes treated.
