Wednesday December 5th 1883 I went to town early this forenoon and was around trading some with Hatt. We got a proof of Ediths picture I had taken Monday afternoon and they are good. John, Hatt and I took dinner at the church parlors. I came on home early in the afternoon and went up to see how Mary was a little while. Thursday December 6th 1883 It was a rainy day and I stayed right at home and sewed all the time I could spare from the house work. Friday December 7th 1883 Weather more pleasant than yesterday. I washed in the forenoon and sewed all the afternoon and evening. The dancing club met at Aunt Linda's. Ott got home again Saturday December 8th 1883 Rather a pleasant day. I was busy sewing all the time I could get from house-work. May was over to Hatts all day and Mother and Julia both went down town in the afternoon.
