Thursday December 13 1883 It was a pleasant day and Hatt came over and brought the children. We had a good visit I finished my dress and Rob and I went to the Hesperian Exhibition in the evening. I had a letter from Vene. Friday December 14 1883 I cut and made Mother a calico dress with Julias help today and knit the foot in a stocking for May in the evening. Saturday December 15 1883 I was busy working about the house all the forenoon and went to town soon after dinner. I wrote a note to Charlie and Will Reed. I did a little trading and went down to Hatts awhile. I worked on my edging at night. Sunday December 16 1883 It was a cold snowy day and I was right at home all day. I read a little in the afternoon and put in the evening looking over old magazines for letters to mark
