Saturday January 7th 1882. I did my work this morning and sat down to work on my macrame, by working till late in the evening I finished it up. Mother was over town a little while in the afternoon and Win was over here. Sunday January 8th 1882. I did not go to church this morning but was busy about the house all the forenoon Hatt brought baby over home today and she was ever so good. I wrote to Mr Norris in the afternoon and to Charlie, Laura Short Miss Lewis and Clara Sherts in the evening. Monday January 9th 1882 We got up early to do the washing this morning. I was busy about the house most of the forenoon I got Clara Sherts shopping pocket ready to line and practiced in the afternoon. Worked on edging all the evening.
