Tuesday January 10th 1882 I got the work done up about ten oclock and went over town I finished Clara's pocket and sent it. I got yarn and began a cap for May. It was snowing hard when I came home at five oclock. Wednesday January 11th 1882 I helped considerable with the work today but worked what time I had on Mays cap Mother was over town. I went over in the evening to attend the Hay-makers with the girls. I dident like it very well. Thursday January 12th 1882 I worked on Mays cap a little while before dinner and got it nearly done. I went over to Hatts after dinner and she and I went out to see Mr Kruesmer and found him very sick indeed. Called at Towns and at the Palace Hotel to see Mrs Funk. I did not get home till dark. I was tired and did not feel like work so read in the evening. Weather wintry and threatening snow. I had a letter from Lou Reeves.
