Friday January 13th 1882. I was busy about the house-work most of the forenoon and did some mending for myself in the afternoon. We all went over to Ella Birds to a party in the evening and had quite a pleasant time. Weather very much colder. Saturday January 14th 1882. I was busy about the house all the forenoon Hatt came just before dinner was ready. Mother went back with her in the afternoon. I called at Howes and Niphers after dinner, worked what spare time I had on some odd pieces of work that was unfinished. Sunday January 15th 1882 I was busy about the work all the forenoon. Soon after dinner I went over to Hatts and we went over to Kruesmers. He died yesterday evening. I staid over and Mother came and we went to church. I came home and went to bed early.
