Tuesday January 31st 1882. I got Laura rigged up in my clothes and she went home soon after breakfast. I cleaned up the house and changed my dress before dinner. Went over to Hatts in the afternoon and Win was there and learned me to make a new edging I am feeling nearly sick with my vacination. Ott got home. Wednesday February 1st 1882. I gave the house a thorough cleaning up this forenoon and in the afternoon while Mother was gone to town I made cat-sup and attended to a ham we were boiling. Ella Bird was here a couple of hours with her baby. I knit a little in the evening. Thursday February 2nd 1882. I soon got my work done this morning Hatt was over with the baby all day. Win was here in the afternoon. Mrs Funk and Mrs Rowe called. I began my net bed-spread. I have a bad cold which makes me feel bad. Rob got home tonight.
