Tuesday March 7th 1882 Weather still cold. We did the washing this forenoon and gave the house a good cleaning up. Mother went to town and I worked at the rags all the afternoon. Win was over a little while I had a letter from Bird Harris. Wednesday March 8th 1882. I sewed some carpet rags before noon and got ready to go over town. I got a ball of sheeting and took part of it down to Hatts to sew on I staid over till night and Rob and I went to the reading club. It snowed in the afternoon. Carney went home today. Thursday March 9th 1882. Mary Donovan came this morning and we put in a big days work at the dress making I sewed all the evening It was a fearfully stormy day. Mary went home tonight.
