Tuesday June 6th 1882. Mother and Hatt went to the valley to spend the day I practiced a little in the forenoon besides helping get the dinner I worked in the rags in the garret all the afternoon and sewed at them in the evening. Wednesday June 7th 1882. I was busy sewing on the rags and practiced a little. I was right at home all day. Thursday June 8th 1882. Bridget did a large ironing for me this forenoon. I finished the rags and got them all sacked up. Rob and Otto went over in the Cedar river and it rained all day long and they did not get back till ten oclock. Hatt was over till after supper. I practiced awhile in the evening.
