Friday June 9th 1882. I went over to Hatts early this morning and helped her bake cake for her party tomorrow night. She came over home with me and we brought baby with us. We got the boys carpet sewed the carpet for the boys office after I came home that Bridget washed yesterday. Saturday June 10th 1882. I worked about the house all the forenoon and sewed some in the afternoon and got my things ready to go to town as soon as I ate my supper. Rob was out to the farm and worked in the rain all day as he was not able to go over to Hatts in the evening. The rest of us went and Charlie came home and we had a good time I did not come home but stayed all night at Hatts.
