Monday July 3rd 1882. We had an early breakfast this morning and started on the seven oclock train for Circleville We stopped at Jim Dunlaps (nearly there) for dinner where we were made most welcome. At three oclock went up to Circleville We found Aunt Mary Dunlap and Mrs Pottle well and the evening was pleasantly spent there. A short letter from Otto. Tuesday July 4th 1882. It was a cold gloomy morning threatening rain and although Anna and I had persuaded the boys to let us go with them to Columbus we abandoned the idea on account of the weather. We passed a very pleasant day here with the Auntys. We were invited to take tea at Mrs Harsha's and the boys spent the evening there on their return from Colombus. All together it was a delightful day and evening. a pleasant chat after arriving at home and we separated for the night. I wrote to Charlie today.
