Monday July 10th 1882. When I got up I found Mrs Anderson had a little daughter born to her a few hours before. I put in the forenoon reading and working at some edging and talked with Mr Douglas an hour or more. Soon after dinner we had a convention in the office to name the baby and after many discussions decided on Iva Estelle. Rob Will and I went up to Emmetts to look at his paintings and statuary late in the afternoon. Were detained by a shower so decided to not go back to Chillicothe tonight. We passed the evening pleasantly at home Tuesday July 11th 1882. We were around town some in the forenoon and after an early dinner started home at half past twelve Went right up to Offetts where we passed the afternoon pleasantly and after an
