Thursday July 13th 1882 Rob was busy writing the early part of the forenoon and Anna and I went down town. Newton brought Rob & I out to Marys just before dinner We had a letter from Otto this morning and I wrote to Mother. I did a little sewing in the afternoon visited with Mary, and rested. Friday July 14th 1882. Mart and Mary went with Rob & I down below Chillicothe to see Aunt Lydia Wiltshire and We stopped to visit the old farm where our great-grand parents lived and died and saw where they were buried. We were gone nearly all day. We stoppped in town on the way home but found no mail for us. Down near where Aunt Lydia lived we met some of the Stinson who are related to us. A very pleasant day.
