Sunday July 23rd 1882. It was an extremely warm day. Mother came home in the morning to rest but went back again to spend the afternoon I expected to stay all night but Mother thought she had better. Bridget did not come home to help with the supper so I only had a few moments to run over after supper. I wrote to Will in the afternoon. It is my birth-day. Monday July 24th 1882. I went over to Hatts early this morning and stayed all day and all night The baby still continues very sick they got Mrs Oglevie to help us take care of her. I wrote to the different friends again today. Tuesday July 25th 1882. We thought Edith better this morning I came home and Mother went over I slept most of the day. Baby was worse just at supper time I was over after supper but Mother stayed all night. I wrote to the friends again today.
