Wednesday July 26th 1882. Mother came home this morning and thought Edith a little better I went over and stayed all day and at home all night. Mrs Oglevie is still there. We are very much encouraged about baby getting well. I wrote to all the friends what her condition today was. Thursday July 27th 1882. I was home part of the day and at Hatts the rest of the time. Mary has gone home to stay over Sunday so Hatt has no girl. I stayed over all night. Friday July 28th 1882. Baby passed a very comfortable night I came home soon after breakfast and took a sleep. Mother went over there to stay all day. I did a little practicing today for I feel better than the first of the week and did not mind the loss of sleep so much. I went over after supper to stay all night again.
