Saturday July 29th 1882. We think Edith still improving I came home early this morning and slept till noon. Mother went over soon after dinner I played on the piano all the afternoon Went to bed about as soon as the work was done up after supper. Sunday July 30th 1882. It was a rainy morning so I did not go to church I worked around the house awhile and put in the rest of the forenoon at the piano. In the afternoon wrote a long letter to Jennie Decker and a number of cards to different friends to let them know how Edith was. Rob and I went over to Hatts to spend the evening. Edith is a year old today. Monday July 31st 1882. I helped some about the work this forenoon. Lou Van Camp and little boy came just before noon. We talked all the afternoon and She and I went over to Hatties a few moments after supper.
