Friday August 11th 1882. Mother and Grand-ma went to town before noon. I was doing some work about the house and attending to the dinner. In the afternoon sat down on the front porch to visit with Grand-ma only for a little time I came up stairs to write a letter to Charlie We were talking out on the porch all the evening Saturday August 12th 1882. I was busy about the work most of the forenoon. Blanche Dunlap and Lou Thompson came on the noon train. They were sleeping awhile in the afternoon and I did some sewing then. After supper I took care of Edith and let Hatt go to ride with the folks. We talked a while after they came home. Sunday August 13th 1882. The girls with Otto and I took Grand-ma home this morning. We stopped at all the places for a call during the day and took dinner with Grand-ma and Aunt Emma We were home by supper time and the boys took the girls to church in the evening
